The Guelph Hiking Trail Club (GHTC)
is leading a fundraising campaign to make
vital improvements to the most well-used,
naturalized community trail in Guelph,
The James Street Trail.
Our first project is to BUILD A BRIDGE over
a dangerous crossing in the first kilometre
of the trail, which makes it inaccessible to
many people and dangerous for all users.
WE NEED YOUR HELP! We aim to raise
$50,000 to build a bridge over the
problem crossing,
the first of many
improvements we
plan to make to the
trail. We’ve already
raised nearly $30,000
and we want to raise
the remainder during
an intensive onemonth campaign in
April 2021.
